Tips from Ad and Leunie
'Zeeland is so beautiful,' says Ad. 'Leunie and I like to cycle. For example, through De Manteling to Veere or over the dyke to Westkapelle and then through the dunes to Vlissingen. Wonderful! On the way, you come across various nice little towns and terraces.'
Fancy touring by car or motorbike? Then, according to Ad, it is more than worthwhile to also take the Zeelandbrug to Schouwen-Duiveland. 'The route is special because of all its vistas, nature reserves and water. And Zierikzee is a lovely little town to take a look around.'

In high season, our province is bursting with activities and festivals. Leunie and Ad know all about that. Leunie is a fan of Middelburg VÓLkoren, the largest choir festival in Zeeland, a singing festival for young and old. The festival is organised in the city centre of Middelburg in early June.
Ad has another list of festivals worth mentioning. Ad: 'Jazz by the Sea in the third weekend of September in Domburg, the Liberation Festival, 5 May, in Vlissingen, De Stadsfeesten in mid-June in Middelburg, Vlissingen Zingt, early August, De Mosselfeesten en Culikaravaan, August in Middelburg, Zeeland Nazomerfestival at the end of August... you name it. Zeeland boring? Didn't think so, hey," he laughs.
